FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What style of pictures can we expect?

My photography style is reflected in the work you see in my portfolio. If you’re looking for a radically different style, just let me know—I’ll happily recommend colleagues whose approach might suit your vision better.
What about locations, outfits, and preparation? I’m nervous; this is my first photoshoot!

Before our session, we’ll discuss and choose the best location and time—sometimes we start very early or late to get optimal light. We’ll also figure out outfits or themes that match your ideas. I’ll create a mood board to help guide us, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. Being prepared and informed goes a long way to reducing stress and helping you feel confident in front of the camera. You’ll also find helpful tips in my guide, “How to Get Your Best Pictures Even If You’re Not a Model.”
Do you have a studio?

I do not have my own studio. If you’d like a studio photoshoot, we’ll rent one for an additional cost.
How will we receive our pictures?

You’ll receive a link to an online gallery where you can download both web-resolution and full-size images. Your photos will remain stored there for up to three years; I’ll let you know beforehand if they’re scheduled for removal.
Will you share our pictures publicly?

I love showcasing beautiful moments in my portfolio, but your privacy comes first. I will always discuss any potential sharing with you beforehand. If you prefer to keep some or all of your photos private, I fully respect that decision.
How many pictures will be edited and how?

I process all of the pictures I deliver—color corrections, exposure adjustments, cropping, and straightening. Couple portraits also receive retouching if needed. Any additional, more detailed edits can be requested at a small extra charge. My goal is to create a cohesive collection of images that look fantastic both in print and as an album.
What if I’m uncomfortable being photographed?

The best photos happen when you feel relaxed and at ease. I’ll never push you into awkward poses or situations. Your comfort and authenticity are top priorities for me.
How do we know we’ll be comfortable with you on our wedding day—and like the results?

If you’re in Tampere, I offer a short 30-minute “love story” photoshoot at a reduced rate. This gives us a chance to see if we’re a good match. If not, no worries—I can recommend another photographer who might be the perfect fit for your special day.
What if your camera breaks during our event?

I always bring backup gear, including a second camera and an extra lens. Should any technical problem arise, I’ll switch equipment quickly so no important moment is missed.
Will I have full ownership of the photos?

Yes. Once the images are delivered, you’re free to use them however you wish. I only ask that any public or marketing use by businesses credit me by name.
How many hours of coverage do we need?

I’m flexible and can adapt coverage to your needs—whether you’d like me there just for the ceremony or the entire day. There is a sample timeline that can help you estimate how many hours are right for you. We’ll discuss all the important details—getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, and reception—and figure out the perfect schedule to capture every special moment.
